The Hindu-Hitachi Scholarships India 

Candidates willing to be the part of The Hindu-Hitachi Scholarships program needs to be an Indian Citizen, must be under 30 years of age and must hold B.E degree or B.sc (Engg) or its equivalent from any recognized university. Candidates possess similar working experience would be given preference over other candidates. Candidates with minimum one year professional working experience needs to apply. Those who were rejected in the previous years for the Hindu-Hitachi Scholarships need not to apply again. 

Every year thousands of engineers applies for The Hindu-Hitachi Scholarships, who possess one year of working experience wishes to undergo training provided by Hitachi in Japan. Each year Hitachi offer 4 – 7 diversified fields of training. Every year only 2-3 engineers from all over India gets an opportunity to undergo training program by Hitachi.  

The training commence for about 6 months from July to December, which includes 40 days orientation program at AOTS kenshu centers. The main aim of the scholarship is to teach basic Japanese language and help them to accustomed Japanese way of living. This training helps the students to adapt conditions of real world.  AOTS is a training center, which conducts training programmes for all students coming from outside to Japan for technical training especially from south America and South East Asia. In the beginning, language training is provided to all students and later the scholar’s proceeds with the technical training. All over Japan, Hitachi has multiple factories, research centers and offices, so the training centers is not fixed. Each students needs to go to different part of Japan. Hence, the knowledge of Japanese language becomes utmost important.

Students might have training in one of the following product, industrial systems, power systems, information and telecommunication systems, and transportation systems. During the training program, special attention is given on environmental related energy saving techniques.
