SIKKIM MANIPAL UNIVERSITY (SMU) BA/MA ADMISSION
Sikkim Manipal University (SMU) is one of the largest universities of India. The university was establishedwith the collaboration of government of Sikkim and Manipal education India in 1995. It is the one type of state private university. The university provides various courses like engineering, medical, management, and applied science along with regular college programmes.
Sikkim Manipal University also provides graduation programs like Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Master of Arts (MA). There are two elective subjects, History and Political science for Bachelor of Arts. Candidates are required to choose one of them.
Eligibility for Admission:
Duration of BA programme is minimum 3 years and maximum 6 years, which include six semesters. Duration of MA programme is minimum 2 years and maximum 4 years, which include four semesters. There are 4 subjects in each semester of BA and MA.
The candidates who have passed their SSC exam and HSC exam are eligible for BA. And the candidates who have passed their graduation exam of 3 years are eligible for MA.
Admission Procedure:
The candidates are required to submit application form with all details. These forms are available on university’s website. Candidates can purchase it by buying prospectus online. Prospectuses are also available to admission office of university and in some selected branches of ICICI bank, AXIS bank and HDFC bank. Candidates just have to buy it by giving demand draft of required amount with the name of Sikkim Manipal University to ‘Admission Officer’ at address given in contact details.
The candidate should attached attested photocopies required documents which are given below and also A4 size photograph.

3. Graduation mark sheet (for MA only)
4. Leaving certificate
