Pondicherry University entered in distance education field in 1996. The university was founded in October 1985 by government of India through an act of parliament. The university has 87 affiliated colleges which 35000studentsin main campus 5500 student and around 27000 in distance education mode. The university is member of association of Commonwealth University and association of Indian university. They offer following MBA course in distance education mode Master of business administration general, Master of business administration HRM, master of business administration in International business, master of Business administration in Finance, Master of business administration in Marketing.
Eligibility for MBA admission:
Candidate must complete graduation from recognized university with minimum 50 per cent marks. They also conduct one entrance examination for admission;on the basis of marks they give admission to the student.

The application forms are available at directorate of distance education office or student also get admission form on their official website download the application form and submit the application form before due date and pay the fees by demand draft in the favor of director, directorate of distance education.
