Shri Brihad Bharatiya Samaj Scholarship India invites application in a detailed form for scholarship from Indian Students of India origin for pursuing full time degree courses in Indian universities and IIT’s in Engineering, Nursing, Medicine (MBBS, Homeopathy, Ayurved, BDS) Computer Science, Technology, Pharmacy, Agriculture, Veterinary Science and PG courses in these faculties.

First year students who score minimum 70 percent marks and other with minimum 60 percent marks in the previous year university examination and female candidate studying in the first year and above in nursing with minimum 45 percent marks are entitled. The next criterion is the parent/guardian total annual income should not exceed 60000/-. Approximately 200 students will be selected for the award of scholarship and the decision is taken on the merit basis. Students receiving scholarship from central or state university of any kind are not entitled to get scholarship from Shri Brihad Bharatiya Samaj. 

Application form and other details regarding the scholarship is easily assessable from the office of the samaj at NK Mehta International House, 178, Backbay Reclamation, Babubhai M. Chinai Marg, Mumbai, 400200 and may be obtained by sending a self-addressed stamped large sized envelope to the Samaj registered office. Usually the application form is available until the month of September. 

Eligibility for Shri Brihad Bharatiya Samaj Scholarship India

• First year students with minimum 70 percent marks and other with minimum 60 percent marks in the previous year university examination and female candidate studying in the first year and above in nursing with minimum 45 percent marks.

• Parents/guardian total annual income shouls not exceed 60000/- 

• Students receiving scholarship from the state or central or from their college/university/institute will not be eligible for Shri Brihad Bharatiya Samaj Scholarship.

• Students applying for Shri Brihad Bharatiya Samaj Scholarships must be an Indian citizen if he is not then he is not eligible for the scholarship.
